The Ben At Night | Wednesday Apr 15, 2009
My plan on taking this shot was to have a colorful night, long exposure. However, once I opened it up in PS and adjusted the WB, the image lacked something. So black and white here we come! This conversion was done with the channel mixer as opposed to my usual conversion technique, the excellent Nik Software Silver Efex. I toned the image using curves and finished of with a high pass sharpening.

Also I'm happy you didn't use the Nik Software thingy, because I'm still debating with myself whether or not I should .... ;-)
