I went to the beach on Monday Morning, I had to work fast as I had the sunrise time off by 15min. I think I got one or 2 shots off that I will post over the next few days. This shot reminds me I need to go to Atlantic City at night some time. I did consider cloning out the cranes, after 15mins of work I decided it took away something from the photo, not sure what, but it lacked something.

Great image! I like how the ambient light mixes here with the neon light.
What is a funny thing is that I actually been at that beach. I just remembered that when I saw this image. I kind of remember that view, but actually that's a long time ago now...

I don't find cranes too much intrusive in this photo, initially I didn't realise them, and they add realism to the take. I think you took the right decision. You have captured this "magic" lighting moment, bravo!

How did the surfing shots come out? I'd love to see them sometime. It was cold but I was able to get a few rides. It got better Tuesday and Wednesday. Thanks for shooting me. Hope to see some soon. Some really great shots here! Good stuff.

You certainly bring out some wonderful colors here. I think the cranes kinda tells the city is expanding into the sea - oddly enough. The composition is great! Love the cliffs and concrete in the foreground.

The flat water completes this shot for me, because it adds those subtle reflections. The colors and the overall feel is quite nice. Looks like it was taken very early in the morning, after a long night gambling and partying.
